Download DANB's Appeals Policy
DANB's Appeals Policy includes the form that must be completed by individuals requesting reconsideration of a decision made by the Dental Assisting National Board, Inc. Individuals may request appeals for the following reasons:

  • Rejection of credentials for eligibility to sit for a DANB exam
  • Denial of DANB Certification or Recertification
  • Denial of CDE course eligibility
  • Failure of a CDE audit
  • Denial of a request for an exception to an administrative requirement
  • Denial of a grievance regarding a DANB exam
  • Denial of a request for administrative or exam fee reduction or waiver
  • Other

    Download DANB's Policy and Procedures for Appeal of Clinical Exam Results
    Candidates who have taken either the Arizona Clinical Radiologic Proficiency Exam or the Oregon Clinical Radiologic Proficiency Exam may request an appeal of clinical exam results for the following reasons:

  • The candidate believes his/her clinical exam was not properly evaluated
  • The candidate believes a non-standard testing condition or irregular circumstance contributed to a failing score on the exam
  • The candidate wishes to appeal a policy or procedure not related to scoring.
